Data Logger
Data Logger is a general purpose data logger based on the MINI-MAX/51-C2 microcontroller board. It can be customized for various data logging applications. The current version allows logging 11 analog signals from DAQ-2543 board ( 12-bit resolution, 0-4V range ) along with timestamp. The logging period is programmable between 10 milliseconds and 65,535 milliseconds (65 Seconds).

Complete Application Package includes:
MINI-MAX/51-C2 Microcontroller Board
DAQ-2543 board (11 analog channels, 12-bit ADC)
MMC-RTC-1 board
128 MB MMC (Multimedia Card)
Open Source Software + Firmware

$199

The minimum hardware requirements of current version:

The individual boards that comprise the data logger are stacked together through the Expansion connector of each board. MINI-MAX/51-C2 microcontroller board is the bottom board and drives the operation of the data logger.
A host PC sends commands to Data Logger using an RS232 COM port. Data Logger receives the host command request, executes and sends a reply to the PC.

RS-232 communication parameters: 57600 baud, 8 bit, no parity, 1 stop bit.

A Windows application called Log.exe is the graphical user interface to the data logger. Source code of the firmware log.bas is provided in BASIC ( Using BASCOM51 BASIC Compiler ).

Multimedia Card (MMC) in the data logger can be upgraded to up to 4 Gigabytes for longer/faster data logging

Note: Datalogger continues to log data even when not connected to the PC
