Solar Industrial Wireless Resistance Sensor


The Monnit Industrial Wireless Resistance Sensor outputs theresistance across a load. It can be connected to any kindof variable resistance device, such as a transducer orsensor that outputs voltage. If the device to be measuredis passive, the user must supply their own excitation voltageto the device. To reduce error, a variable resistorconfiguration is implemented on the ADC to cover specificresistance ranges.

This industrial wireless sensor features a Lithium Iron Phosphate rechargeable battery in conjunction with a solar power cell to keep the battery charged and at optimal capacity. If there is no light present at the solar cell, the battery alone could continue to power the sensor for up to 5 years.
