Programming Adapters
Adapters are available for DIP, PLCC, SOIC and SSOP MCU packages. Some adapters have more than one socket to accomodate more than one package or type of MCU.
The following programming adapters are available for P?Cwriter and Parallax PIC16CXX-PGM programmers.

The PICmicro® is available in several package styles. To accommodate additional PICs and packages, we stock a variety of adapters for the P?Cwriter. The chart below organizes the supported PICs, Package styles and available adapters.
The first column displays the device to be programmed. The second column indicates the devices that do not require an adapter and are supported by the programmers LIFF socket. The remaining columns display additional device packages and the required adapter part number.
