for Ex: i have loaded a program to turn on port 1
p1.0 to p1.7
2. the main setup to run a 8051 chip
a.Supply voltage (5v if i am not wrong)
b.ICC supply current(50mA?)
3. Pull up resistor required to check the out put frm
any port?
and do i need to give a high on EA pin or the reset pin.
in order to run the circuit?
if any 1 can giv any inputs/ideas tat will do gud!
PS: pls 4giv my spell killing miktakes and grandma\'s

the best way to test a micro P is to write a program which generates a square-wave from one of pins; unlike 68hcxx, you don\'t need to mess with any data direction register. You don\'t need any pulll up/down resistor either. Use the power adaptor that came with 8051.
