Title: Pinout for the serial port?
Post by: franklin97355 on November 21, 2009, 12:05:25 pm
I have two questions.
1. where can I find the pinout for the serial port on the GadgetPC?
 and
2. Is it 3.3v or 5v levels?

Vitaliy responded with this:
3.3v (out)
GND
RXD(3.3v in)
TXD(3.3v out)
GND
Not Connected
GND
GND
This is with the four USB ports facing to the right.
Thanks Vitaliy

The simplest way to get access to a serial console is to use a  BRD-RS232-TTL-1  peripheral board .

The board will be powered from the GadgetPC if the J8 jumper is closed.
