Title: control of 20 dc motors

hi everyone. i am a 53 y/o who has just been introduced to the really cool world of micro processors. i learn quick...with that said. there are many processors available, researching them all would be time i do not have. so i would like to ask of the experienced participants what or where would you start?

objective: seems simple....with my laptop and a micro processor. i would like to control 20 dc motors at the same time. they are miniature pumps. the challange....if they are all turned on, and then off at the same time, they pump different amounts of fluid. i need to "fine tune" each pump, or say, calibrate. they will all start on que, but some will need to run longer (1/2 a second 1/4 second maybe more) than others due to there performance characteristics. is this possible? thank you. fred

Maybe it is a good start point for your application.
Note, you can connect many peripheral boards to
MINI-MAX/51-C2
