Please explain details of your setup.
How did you connect the RS232 converter board to GadgetPC ?
Maybe the best thing is to take pictures and email to tech@bipom.com.  Then I will be able to review them
to see what is wrong

Please look at
http://www.bipom.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1258826725

It shows all the necessary jumpers, connections, etc.

You need the converter only to get started.
Because you will see all log messages.
Theoretically, if you are enough experienced you can manage that task ( Linux configuration, administration) without  a serial console.
For example, using telnet, putty, etc. over network connection.
To get started at the 1st time I recommend to use the converter. This is the simplest way to get access to Linux console even if the system is not configured correct.

SAM-BA will work only over USB.
We provide UART0 on the 8-pin connector.

Please move incrementally. Try to start with ARM9 Linux release. It is much simpler.
If everything works you can try Debian.

In any case, the 1st step is  to see Loader messages on Hyperterminal window

You don\'t need SAM-BA at all.
Just run a hyperterminal ( 115200 bps, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, without hardware control)

1. GadgetPC has 2 LEDs ( RED and GREEN).
Are they switched ON when you power the GPC  board through USB device port ?

2. Does your Flash drive have  a built-in LED/indicator ?
Can you see any activity ?

3. WUA-1340 has a built-in LED. Can you see any activity?

Btw, the simplest way to get started is to connect
a  BRD-RS232-TTL-1  peripheral board .
http://www.bipom.com/products/us/851715.html

Then you will be able to see all messages to identify the problem ( Loader and Linux boot messages)

Please look at this topic as well

as the 1st step please connect an RS232 adapter to the board.

Then we can look at Linux log to detect the problem.

About wireless connection.
Note, your wireless network has to use WEP
